Dr Tseng has practised dentistry since 1983 and has played an influential role across numerous professional organisations. His contributions span leadership positions with the Australian Dental Association (NSW), the Australian Dental Council, the Dental Council of NSW, and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, as well as international professional bodies including the International College of Dentists. He is also an active mentor, supporting and guiding the next generation of dental professionals.

Beyond dentistry, Dr Tseng continues to give back to his local community, currently serving as President of the Copacabana Surf Life Saving Club, further highlighting his commitment to service both within and beyond the profession.

Reflecting on the honour, Dr Tseng shared that he was “honoured but humbled” to receive the award and credited his mentors, colleagues, patients, and family for their ongoing support throughout his career. He has also expressed a strong desire to continue mentoring young dentists, reinforcing his passion for education, leadership, and professional development.
